Religious Education and Collective Worship

As the school is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination, Religious Education follows the Authority's Agreed Syllabus.

It covers the main alternative religions of the world including Christianity.

The Education Reform Act 1988 determines that there must be provision for RE for all pupils and that there must be a daily act of collective worship. Our collective worship is Christian based but not exclusively so.

Parents have the right to withdraw their child from RE lessons and religious assemblies if they wish. You need to talk to the Headteacher before doing so.
