The school considers it valuable for parents to work at home with their children on a regular basis. It begins with the youngest children sharing a book with their parents for a short period of time and extends to regular reading activities, learning of spellings and multiplication tables, practising number skills, researching for topics etc. Parents will be advised of the homework requirements at the first Parents' Evening of each school year.

The amount of work to be undertaken at home is that recommended in the Department for Education and Employment Guidelines.
