SCHOOL MEALS |

|
The school has its own kitchen and the majority of children have a school meal or bring a packed lunch.
A self-service cafeteria system operates with the children usually having a choice of meal.
If your child brings a packed lunch please ensure that it is brought to school in a secure container labelled with your child's name. In the interests of health and safety, we ask that children having a packed lunch do not bring cans, fizzy drinks, glass bottles or breakable vacuum flasks or sweets.
Dinner money is paid to the school secretary on the first day of each week.
From September 2010 the cost of school meals will be £1.85 per day, £9.25 per week.
It is the entitlement of parents in receipt of Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance Income Based or Child Tax Credit (if income less than £16,190 gross) to apply to the LEA for meals to be provided at no charge (for further details telephone 253 5630). Please be aware that if you are in receipt of Working Family Tax Credit you will not be entitled to apply for free school meals.
