Dear Parents

As you are aware, school was given a Notice to Improve during our Ofsted inspection in October last year.

Two weeks ago school was visited by Mark Williams, HMI, who came to inspect the progress we had made with the areas for improvement. The visit was very positive and recognition was given to the work we have undertaken since the inspection. All lessons observed were judged to be good and good progress has been made with the safeguarding issues. The commitment of the Year 1 staff to making improvements was recognised and school is now well placed to go forward with confidence to further improve pupils’ achievement.

Please find attached the letter which details the outcomes of the monitoring visit. This letter can also be found on the Ofsted website at Ofsted Monitoring Visit

Thank you for your continued support, in particular in helping us implement the new security measures we have introduced. Having correctly prioritised safeguarding issues we are now fully focussed on improving pupils’ achievement and have a clear vision of how to improve quality at Park View School.

Please don’t hesitate to contact school if you would like to discuss this further.

Thank you

Yours sincerely

Mrs K M Yarnall
