Please find time to read this newsletter – it contains dates for future reference, items about school activities, reminders of school policy and invitations to events.
Staffing news;
Mrs Plummer will be leaving Park View at the end of the summer term to undertake a Doctorate in Psychology course leading to a career as a Child and Educational Psychologist. Mrs Plummer has contributed so much to our school, both in her teaching and in developing our music provision. We will miss her a great deal but wish her every success and happiness in the future.
We will be making an appointment to replace Mrs Plummer and will inform you when that is made.
Summer Fair:
The Summer Fair will be held on Saturday June 6th and arrangements are well in hand for our biggest event of the year.
During the first week back in school after the half term holiday, we will be holding Bottle Discos for each class as follows:
Tuesday
2nd June Years
5 and 6
Wednesday 3rd June Years 3 and 4
Thursday 4th June Years 1 and 2 and Reception
Please could every child wishing to attend the discos bring a bottle into school as a donation on the day of their disco.
Sponsored Walk:
Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s Sponsored Walk – the weather stayed fine and it was a really enjoyable morning. Congratulations to all who finished. Also thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the day such a success.
Please could all sponsor money be collected and sent into school as soon as possible.

Art and Performing Arts Week:
Next week all the children will be taking part in many different art activities. They will be painting with a water-colour artist, cheerleading, singing and undertaking lots of other art and craft activities in class.
Class Photographs:
Don’t forget – we are having class photographs taken next Tuesday, 19th May. Please can all children come in their school uniform that day
