NEWSLETTER                   December 2007

 Please find time to read this newsletter – it contains dates for future reference, items about school activities and reminders of school policy.

Staffing news:

We would like to offer our congratulations to Miss Truelove on the birth of her daughter last week and also to Mrs McClean on the birth of her daughter on Sunday.

We would also like to thank Mr Wood and Mrs Wright for all their hard work this term and wish them all the best for the future.

Tesco vouchers:

Thank you for your continued support in collecting vouchers for school. We have collected a staggering 20,000 vouchers this term and have sent an order off for playground equipment that the children will be able to use at playtimes and lunchtimes.

Dinner Money:

Please could all dinner money be paid by Friday as Securicor do not make collections during the holidays. Thank you

Christmas Fair:

The Christmas Fair was held on Sunday 9^th December

and was a huge success. We raised approximately £1600 on the day. Thank you so much to everyone who gave up their time to help at this event, either setting up before hand , helping on the day or helping to tidy up afterwards. Your support was very much appreciated.

Christmas Performances: 

Thank you to everyone who came to watch our Christmas performances this year. Year 4 told ‘The Stable Story’ and Year 3 let us know ‘What Christmas means to them’. Year 1 and Year 2 were ’Off to Bethlehem’ and Reception told the story of ‘Whoops a Daisy Angel’.

All the children were wonderful and I’d like to thank the teachers, support assistants and parents who helped make the performances such a success. Also thank you for supporting these events and being a fantastic audience!
