  • Keeping healthy – foods needed for a healthy and varied diet;  learning about the heart and how the heart beat is affected by exercise

  • Developing keyboard and word processing skills
  • Graphical modelling – using an object based graphics package to produce images

HISTORY:

  • A study of the Victorians – achievements, school life, home life, leisure, working conditions, industry and transport
  • Compare their lives with children in Victorian times

ART:

  • Self portraits
  • Seasonal themes
  • Observational drawing
  • Activities based on the Victorians
  • Study of William Morris

 

RE:

  • Harvest, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Succot
  • Christian beliefs and practices
  • Advent and Christingle

Music:

  • African songs/chants
  • Harmony in singing
  • Tuned and untuned ostinato
  • Iron man composition
